2024 Ford F-150 Lightning
It's the power and exceptional driving characteristics of the Ford Lightning that make it exceptional. That's because the full-size truck relies on an electric drivetrain that delivers near-instantaneous torque without compromising on the vehicle's work capabilities. With the Ford Lightning, you choose your range based on the size of the battery, but you know you can count on a comfortable interior with the latest technology, ensuring a pleasant and safe environment for everyone.
Range and power
The Ford Lightning is first and foremost a real workhorse. With its all-wheel drive and maximum towing capacity of 10,000 pounds, it is the perfect companion for all daily tasks. As for its range, it varies from 370 to 515 kilometres, thanks to a 131 kWh battery and a maximum power of 580 horses. It will only take you 14 hours on a Level 2 charging station, and 45 minutes on a Level 3 charging station to recover electrical capacity.
Taking advantage of electricity
The Ford Lightning also relies on smart use of electricity. It has a Pro Power Onboard generator that allows you to rely on power outlets available at all times in the charging box and among the 11 available outlets. But those who choose the Pro Box Wall and Charge Pro Station products will enjoy other benefits: the Box Wall allows for fast charging in 8 hours at an 80-amp station, provided your home can handle it. And the Pro Station allows you to reverse the charge, transferring electricity from your truck to your home.
Safe all the way
It's the CoPilot360 system that makes it possible to offer an effective and comprehensive set of driving aids with the Lightning. Lane tracking, blind spot detection with trailer assist and pre-collision assistance are just a few of the features that make up this package. Also available is the Blue Cruise driver assistance system, which is capable of steering the truck without driver assistance on predetermined routes. However, you have to keep your eyes on the road.
Technology and entertainment
The cabin has plenty of room to spare, and comfortable, heated seats for front occupants. But entertainment hasn't been forgotten, thanks to the Sync4 system, which is displayed in the large touchscreen in the center of the dashboard, and offers full Android Auto and Apple Car Play compatibility, as well as optional connected navigation. An optional 1080-watt B&O Unleashed audio system adds some ambiance to the cockpit, while controls like unlocking doors or controlling charging can be done remotely with the Ford Pass app.
