A sporty silhouette
It does not have the name Mustang for nothing. The Mach-E takes the characteristic elements of the iconic sport car, including the extended hood illustrated with the logo of the stallion. At the rear, the progressive three-bar vertical lights are “de rigueur”, as they are on the original version of the Mustang. Because it is a sport utility, the dimensions are however a little more extensive, with a roof line that extends in height to give way to a larger cargo area, without compromising passengers comfort.
100% electric
The Mustang Mach-E has an all-electric powertrain, including a power-driven version with rear-wheel drive, or all wheel drive by adding an engine to the front axle. It will be available in two battery capacities: the standard version has 288 cells and offers 75.7 kWh, while the battery "long lasting" collects 376 cells and stores 98.8 kWh of electrical energy. According to the manufacturer, the car will be able to run for 370 to 483 kilometers of autonomy, and its charging system will allow it to recover up to 80% of its capacity in 40 minutes, under the right conditions.
Sporty as ever
The Ford Mustang Mach-E does not deny its sports car heritage. Offered in five different versions, it will offer power up to 459 horsepower and 0-100 km / h in 3.9 seconds. Less extreme versions will however be available.
A luxury interior
Modern and stylish, the cockpit of the Mach-E is also a place of innovation and comfort. A large 15.5-inch touch screen, installed in the middle of the dashboard, is the center of the attention. This vertical rectangle gathers practically all systems and applications, according to the new, wonderfully simple and logical principle of a "flat architecture". A 10.2-inch flat screen behind the steering wheel will act as a dashboard and give the driver all the information he needs.
