Tasks

• Supervise technicians in the mechanical workshop, assist them, train them or have them trained, as needed
• Ensure a high level of productivity from technicians
• Determine the cause of any malfunction and describe the repair.
• Be specific about the duration of the work and notify the people concerned (estimators) immediately of any change or delay.
• Monitor the progress of work on vehicles in the workshop and ensure that repair and safety guidelines are respected
• Maintain facilities and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and safety
• Participate in different meetings
• Perform other duties as required and directed by management.

Requirements

• Several years of mechanical experience
• Supervisory experience is an asset.
• Be focused on excellence in customer service.
• Ability to work in a team.
